Why does this tropical raspberry mango “not so green” green smoothie have me thinking about adding “spirits“? And I’m not a drinker, so that’s pretty damn remarkable.
This is that summery green smoothie (in the dead of winter) that will have you feeling like you’re on some white sand beach… No, wait… A fine, deserted pink sand beach.
Yes, ma’am and sir- this green smoothie will have you feeling like you’re on that pink sand beach, lounging with beautiful people and knocking back a few tropical, “spirited” drinks with perky, yellow umbrellas and unnatural looking, fluorescent, red maraschino cherries.
Now, I’ve never tasted a Mai Tai, but I imagine it tastes like this bad boy right here.
The spinach factor, that you can’t taste whatsoever, will bring you back to your reality. And your reality includes getting more naturally nutritious, but tasty, plant-based foods into your body.
You don’t taste the spinach at all, and that’s a plus because the combination of raspberries, mangoes and lemon, with a few drops of stevia to sweeten the tanginess, will make your big toe curl. For real. It’s on that level, honey.
There was one day in there when I drank about 3 servings in one damn sitting. Excessive, but… I reasoned that it was better than running to the corner store and scarfing down sour patch kids. Am I right or am I right?
It’s slushy, refreshing and tangy delicious!
The frozen raspberries and frozen mangoes just take it to that next tropical level. So, just close your eyes when you drink it… and dream pink sand beaches and warmth and lounge chairs and good vibes and…!
So you better prep this one in advance or you’ll wish you had on those I’m-gonna-keep-hittin’-the-snooze-button-until-its-death mornings!
